Chris is off to Orlando to spend the night, pick up a client, fly back to Texas and then fly the owners to the Bahamas for the weekend. So, I won't see him until Monday night. Bummer. It has been nice having him around every night. I am not going to complain too much though. He has not had many overnights at all with this new company. They really treat their pilots well.
As for me, I got the new position I was hoping for. It is a complicated thing to explain, but lets just say I am a technical expert representing a high level group for the Constellation Program. I am fairly excited about the meetings I'll get to attend and then also get interesting work in turn. I get to go to Face to Face Technical Interchange Meetings on all elements for the new Constellation Program, from the Ground Operations, to the vehicles, to mission control. Pretty cool. I am probably going to move back on site, there are just too many meetings to support, but we'll see where I land as far as an office goes. I have a pretty sweet set up here off site, but understand the job may call for me to be on site, I'm OK with that.
I got a cold in the past couple of days. Sucks. I hate being congested. I should have known this was going to happen, what with Blair being in a new room at school. I call it the 'daycare cough'. You know, as opposed to the 'kennel cough'. New room, new germs to contend with. I broke down and got the nasal spray. The Neti Pot just wasn't doing it for me. I tried it 4 times last night and it would clear one nostril and not the other!
Blair is as cute as ever. He gives us hugs and big kisses and waves goodbye when one of us leaves. He is talking a lot and I can't understand half of it and that drives me crazy. I can get the easy things like Juice, snack, hi...you know, everyday stuff, but when he tried to point to something like a picture he says what sounds like car, and I can't figure that one out. We took him on a walk yesterday, it was so freakin' hot! UGH...I wish it would cool down just a little! It is supposed to tomorrow, we'll see if it really does get into the 70s. I am not counting on anything at this point. Stupid bugs are driving me insane. Blair just wants to be outside and I hate letting him getten bitten up, then I have to spray bug spray and he stinks, so he has to have a bath everynight.
Ok, I am starting to rattle on, I am tired, nose kept me up all night....

I can't stand this humidity. I don't know why I EVER straighten my hair. That bug spray is the main reason I don't go for walks every night like I'd like to. I would have to shower right after the walk instead of in the morning. Stupid mosquitoes.
